5. Christ Church School, Bradford on Avon

In 1847 a National School called Christ Church School was opened at Mount Pleasant. Sir John Hobhose gave the land and Captain S.H. Plalairet ,of Wolley Grange, paid for it. In 1878 an infant`s school was erected on an adjoining site given by Miss Isabella Poynder of Leigh House
