I Bridget Hayward Davis, Spinster residing with Mr James Duck , Baker of St. Margarets Street, Bradford in the County of wiltshire do on this the 75th year of my life and being of sane and sound mind and of my own free will make this my last will and testament and do avow and declare all and every will or covenant purporting to be my will to be null and void and without effect and this to be my only one will firstly leave and bequeathe to my beloved and eternal friend Hannah Duck, wife of James Duck Baker aforesaid the freehold House or tenement situaute and being near the town or city of Pembroke in the County of Pembrokeshire , Wales and now occupied by Mr. ..Thomas for the term of her (Hannah Duck`s life and at her decease the property of her son John Edwin Duck to be his without restraint or .. for ever or furthermore give and bequeathe to the said Hannah Duck, Wife of James Duck all my plate (viz.) inc. Silver Tea Pot and stand marked with a crescent and the initial letters T.B.D. a silver cream jug, silver table spoons, 11 silver tea spoons, 2 silver egg spoons and 2 plated candle sticks , etc also 2 feather beds, 2 bolsters, 3 pillows and all my bed and table linen quilts, blankets , etc. also all my household furniture(viz) 9 chairs, 2... 2 tables, 2 work boxes and a large chest also all my wardrobe and underlinen whatsoever , also all my china and glass whatsover all the above mentioned property, goods I give to Hannah Duck aforesaid froma profound feeling of freindship and esteem and in consideration of her great kindness and attention for me for many yeras and I also give and bequeathe to Sophia Hart, Spinster of Bradford in the County of Wilts, the sum of £5 to be paid to her after my death as a mark of my esteem, I also give and bequeathe to Mary Cox, wife of John or Richard Cox and to Elizabeth Bainton, wife of William Bainton all of Bradford in the County of Wilts.. each to be of the value of fifteen shillings each as a token of my respect for them . I also give and bequeathe to Sarah Bryant some working apparal to be taken from my own wardrobe (viz) .. bonnett mantle and one dress . I also leave in thge possession of Mr. Highmore M.D. of Bradford in the County of Wiltshire the sum of £50 for the following purposes . firstly to pay all my funeral expenses and secondly to pay all my gifts (viz) to Sophia Hart aforerementioned the sum of £5, to Mary Cox and Elizabeth bainton th sum of 15 shuillings ...a nd all expenses incurred byb travelling or otherwise incurred by Mr Richard William Pearce and his mother Caroline Pearce both to be present at the reading of this my last will and testament made at Bradford in the County of Wilts.before and in the presence of 4 respectable witnesses also witness my hand 6th February 1857.
