Public transport in the three villages has improved considerably over the last three years. Freshford has a new weekday bus service 94 which links the village to Bath and Trowbridge -the route through the village is Staples Hill, The Hill, High Street, Freshford Lane, Park Comer, Abbey Lane, Warminster Road (A36), Church Lane and Crowe Lane. The services from Freshford station continue to improve with trains calling from 0633-0036 (Mondays to Fridays), 0650-2320 (Saturdays) and 0927-0011 (Sundays). There are regular trains to Bath, Bradford-on-Avon, Bristol, Frome, Salisbury, Southampton, Trowbridge and Weymouth - there are also through trains to Brighton, Cardiff, Liverpool, Portsmouth, Swansea and Taunton. Hinton Charterhouse has an hourly bus service 267 on weekdays linking the village with Bath and Frome -additional journeys are now provided on service 767 on weekday evenings and on Sundays to and from Bath and Frome. Limpley Stoke continues to have a daytime bus every thirty minutes on services X5/X6 from the junction of Lower Stoke and Winsley Hill by the railway bridge to Bath, Bradford-on-Avon, Trowbridge, Warminster and Westbury -buses operate to Salisbury every hour .There is now an hourly evening service and sixteen buses on Sundays. Limpley Stoke residents have also benefited from the new weekday service 94 (Bath -Trowbridge) which is routed via Lower Stoke and Crowe Hill.
