The only son of Colonel A.R.M. Sankey.R.E. He often stayed, when a boy, at the Rectory, with the Rev. Spencer Simms. He was Lieutenant in the 2nd Monmouth Regiment and died at Ypres on 23rd March 1918 from wounds received the previous day. |
